Laurie is a skilled Insights Discovery® facilitator with Seven Stones. She engages with organizational teams using Insights Discovery® as a mechanism for bringing teams together. Through Insights Discovery® workshops, Laurie guides people through the process of understanding themselves and their preferences, how that shapes their interactions with others and how to adapt and connect with their colleagues.
Laurie brings more than 15 years of experience as an advocate for talent development at multiple Fortune 100 technical, scientific and financial services organizations. Through her work supporting small and large research and development teams, Laurie’s impact has been seen through her delivery of high energy, thoughtful solutions that have had considerable significance on team effectiveness, capability development and interpersonal communications.
As Founder of TalentVivo, Laurie gives personalized attention to her clients to understand their unique talent development needs. She is known for her intellectual curiosity, her ability to build successful relationships, and her desire to make a difference. Her experiences in both human resources and learning and development position Laurie with a unique understanding. She connects with business leaders and their challenges through the lens of a strategic business partner who can design and facilitate effective, engaging talent development programs.
Laurie holds a B.A in Psychology from McGill University, and MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. She is a Licensed Practitioner of Insights Discovery® and holds the credential of Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute. Laurie has been coaching leaders and employees throughout her career as an HR Business Partner and as a Learning and Development Consultant.
For this learning path, you will participate in the 4 virtual learning sessions and be enrolled in one of three Racial Affinity Groups:
1) People who identify as People of Color (Black, Indigenous, Asian, Hispanic)
2) People who identify as Bi-Racial or Multi-Racial
3) People who identify as White
*More specific affinity groups may be formed upon the completion of course registration
We believe that it is important to do our own work with people with similar racial experiences to build capacity for cross-race dialogue that supports authentic relationships and deep belonging for everyone. We will ask you to self-select into the group that best aligns with your racial identity. We recognize that for some this is not a simple choice and we are available to have a conversation with you to support your selection.
