Michelle joins Seven Stones Leadership with over 20 years of learning and talent development experience.She provides coaching and consulting that increases the potential of human capital. Michelle a strong practitioner of talent assessment, talent management, organizational development, change management, learning strategy, design, delivery, analysis, and facilitation. She has demonstrated success in working across businesses at all levels,developing trust and building effective partnerships.
Michelle recently held positions at Medtronic plc, in Global HR including talent assessment and team effectiveness. In this role she consulted with intact teams and workgroups to facilitate and administer tools that drive high performing teams. She was also in global talent management supporting Executive Committee Leadership with identifying top talent potential, organization and talent planning, VP development planning and performance management. She initially held the position of Learning & Development Manager in the Cardiac & Vascular Group. In this role she was responsible for assessing the professional development and performance improvement needs of employees and delivering performance-based learning solutions. Michelle previously led an award-winning diversity and inclusion council that created and implemented a variety of cross-functional programs and processes.
Michelle is the Owner and Managing Director of Aspire Performance Improvement Consulting, LLC. She is certified to a variety of tools, including Insights DiscoveryTM, that assess personal preferences and emotional and social functioning. Helping organizations and people realize their potential is a personal passion for Michelle. She combines her extensive knowledge and understanding of talent development, organizational needs, and a deep understanding of systems and human behavior, to design and develop effective solutions, which enhance performance and increase effectiveness.
Michelle holds a M.Ed. and a Certificate in Organization Development from Cambridge College. She holds a certificate in Human Performance Improvement (HPI) from ASTD. She is a graduate of the Partnership’s Fellows Program and of UMASS Boston’s Center for Collaborative Leadership’s Emerging Leader’s program.
For this learning path, you will participate in the 4 virtual learning sessions and be enrolled in one of three Racial Affinity Groups:
1) People who identify as People of Color (Black, Indigenous, Asian, Hispanic)
2) People who identify as Bi-Racial or Multi-Racial
3) People who identify as White
*More specific affinity groups may be formed upon the completion of course registration
We believe that it is important to do our own work with people with similar racial experiences to build capacity for cross-race dialogue that supports authentic relationships and deep belonging for everyone. We will ask you to self-select into the group that best aligns with your racial identity. We recognize that for some this is not a simple choice and we are available to have a conversation with you to support your selection.
